Yoga is a practice rooted in ancient South Asian and African traditions. One is for sure: it consists of more than physical postures (Sanskrit: आसन; āsana). Practicing yoga has the potential to immensely boost our psychological and physical well-being - such as our self-esteem, quality of relationships or chronic pain, amongst other things.
